Authorised use only

PDFKeyFinder is provided to help you recover passwords for PDF documents that you own or are legally authorised to access — for example your own bank statement, a document you created, or a file a client has asked you to unlock. You must not use it to access documents you have no right to open. You are solely responsible for how you use this tool.

No warranty

The tool is provided "as is", without any warranty. Not every password can be recovered, and we do not guarantee any particular result. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of the tool.

How it runs

All processing happens in your browser on your device. We do not receive your files. See the privacy policy.

Donations

The tool is free. Optional donations ("buy me a coffee") simply help cover server costs and are non-refundable. They grant no additional rights or features.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use means you accept the current version.
